Yes. To both. Are you interested in me teaching you?

actually, i offered to teach some classes too.
not the best archer ever but it's in my blood.
so i thought i should introduce myself if we might be teaching together.

[ Well, that's good. Katniss had been a bit nervous about someone seeking her out already, but knowing that there will be someone teaching alongside her - or at least teaching the same thing - actually took some of the pressure off. ]

I didn't realize archery was such a big thing here. But that's a good idea, us introducing ourselves.

How long have you been doing it?

i'd say about seven or so years?

That's about the same as me.

what made you start to learn? was it just for a hobby?

[hangingtree]

I guess you could call it that. My dad used to take me hunting when I was younger, then I had to take it up more seriously to feed my family when he died.

i'm sorry you lost him. i've lost family too but i've still got my mom. my dad's... never been around much in the first place.
he's why i took up archery. it's kind of his thing and all of his kids are talented at it.
some a lot more than others, but i like to think i'm a pretty good shot.
